Its been a great week and looking forward to watching the kids open presents this year. Going to have a nice holiday dinner on christmas and then again when Alex gets down here on the 3rd.

I am in such good spirits. The house is filled with holiday decorations and all the holiday cards we have gotten are hung up.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

As of Jan 5 2013, Alex will be here, I won in custody court and I am so happy. It has been a long long up-hill battle. But it just goes to show that in the end, it was how it was supposed to be.

His father never even bothered to show, claimed he had no idea about court. So when Alex called, and wantd to see if he wanted to see him before, he moved he jumped all over him about it. Saying how he can't move and it's not going to happen and all that fun stuff.

Great job at making your kid feel aweful.

Alex was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, last year and has been getting treatment. I have him all set up down here with therapy and such so its a smooth transition for him. There are a lot of great programs down here that were not available to him in NY. So with the way his father talked to him about court it set him into an episode, and this has been happening when ever he talks to his father. So at this point we think its best to just remove his father from the picture right now anyways.

The fact of the matter was, he did know about court, I sent him 2 emails, I left messages. And his girlfriends husband ( who I am good friends with ) even called to let me know that his wife ( my exs's gf) said they would not be going to court.

So on the day of court the judge called him a bunch of times, and he didn't answer. That is not my fault.

My parents and I have been on the same page about this, they felt he should be here, but last time we were in court the judge felt he shouldn't be taken away from his father.

Being his father, moved out of the area and didn't tell anyone, actually had Alex lie to my parents about that. Got fired from his job for drinking on the job and lost Alex's medical because of that and the fact that he is still drinking all played a huge roll in this. He has not seen his son but 2 x in the last year. I have had Alex for the summer.

His father has made no attempt to put alex first, and now him and his GF are moving to Utah in a couple of months to start over where no one knows them. Good ridence to them both.

She has kids to that she can't be bothered to see either. They aways make plans to see the kids and then blow them off at the last minute. The kids deserve better.

So I am so excited. We will do Christmas on Christmas and then do it again when Alex get's down here. he is just as excited as I am.
